He shared that one of the unique things about Salina Muni is an additional 6-hole short course which is part of the First Tee youth program but is also open to the public. Local high school and college teams can often be found practicing on this course. It’s also a fantastic option on days when a tournament is happening on the main course.
Salina Muni also boasts one of the best pitching and chipping greens in the region, a driving range and a very large putting green.
The course hosts multiple fundraisers and tournaments throughout the year, many of them taking advantage of the large pavilion, donated and built for the First Tee program, or the indoor meeting room which seats 70 comfortably. Both the pavilion and the meeting room are available to rent for graduation and birthday parties, showers and weddings.
